Three Graces

"Body, Mind, Soul - dancing" after Raphael's "Three Graces" , oil on canvas 60x80cm.

"VIII

Labour is blossoming or dancing where
The body is not bruised to pleasure soul.
Nor beauty born out of its own despair,
Nor blear-eyed wisdom out of midnight oil.
O chestnut-tree, great-rooted blossomer,
Are you the leaf, the blossom or the bole?
O body swayed to music, O brightening glance,
How can we know the dancer from the dance?"

William Butler Yeats - from "The Tower"

Transcendence

("Cauda Pavonis" - Oil on canvas, 60x80cm.)

Anonymous poem (before 1665)

These following are to be understood in two ways.

"I Saw a Peacock, with a fiery tail,
I saw a Blazing Comet, drop down hail,
I saw a Cloud, with Ivy circled round,
I saw a sturdy Oak, creep on the ground,
I saw a Pismire, swallow up a Whale,
I saw a raging Sea, brim full of Ale,
I saw a Venice Glass, Sixteen foot deep,
I saw a well, full of mens tears that weep,
I saw their eyes, all in a flame of fire,
I saw a House, as big as the Moon and higher,
I saw the Sun, even in the midst of night,
I saw the man, that saw this wondrous sight."

Mousseline

"I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul."

Pablo Neruda - Sonnet XVII

"Mousseline" - oil on canvas 40x60cm.

Evanescence

"But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, THAT's the great puzzle!" -Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll

Early

A bliss moment. An ilogical weave of substance and soul. This is all before any order is settled. This is Early.

Fortuna

"Fortuna" -oil on canvas 60x80cm - an homage to the goddess of luck and fate, powerful and upset on the world, keeping all the strings of existence in her delicate hands. She has red and rich hair, tangled as the paths of the lives of humans, she is glowing from inside, pulling her strength from the mineral world (the old rusty power generator which I found abandoned in a factory and painted behind her), transforming material energy into magical illuminating waves of thought.

Exhibited at Untitled Artists Fair London 2014 in Chelsea Old Town Hall.

Venera

"Venera" -oil on canvas 60x80cm - an image of the goddess of love and family, caught in a secret illegitimate moment when she is magically stopping Time, spied by the worried eyes of Cupid. She is a white radiating vision, with hidden symbols of her birth (the white foam dentelle...) and of her age as old as time (her opalescent white hair).

Exhibited at Untitled Artists Fair London 2014 in Chelsea Old Town Hall.

Porumbel...pierdut!

S-a intamplat in zona Floreasca.

Semne despre amintirea unui timp fara semne.

Imperiali

Florile mele preferate, crinii. Imbobociti, imi inspira liniste si timiditate. Deshisi, imi inspira curaj nebunesc.

Fiica

O clipa evanescenta. Un gest bland. O privire nelinistita.

Open tulips make me always think of roaring lions.

I wait for the wild and violent spring.

Funny colors

The opalescent colors. Absence of rules, instinctive lines.

Red is lust, yellow is shame, green is tenderness, black is death.

"New Hope" si "New Dream" , 24x36 ulei pe carton.

Happy and lucky new year 2014!
